Shopping for the right siding contractor can be compared to shopping for the right doctor. Who do I turn to? What can I get out of a yellow page ad? I want the best, how do I find him?

The same is true in siding contractors. I interviewed six contractors before one stood out from the rest. I found that each contractor believes they have the best product, best installers, at prices that are all over the board. I had heard it all until I met Jamie Papian.

Of the six contractors I met with, Jamie was the only one who was referred to me from another contractor bidding on the job. That is right, one of my bidders told me due to the height of my home, odd corners to cover, and other existing siding concerns he would use the best person he knew in siding, Jamie Papian.

The stage was set for this meeting. What would Jamie tell me that I hadn’t heard before? Plenty! Jamie cared enough about what was going on behind the siding that he was the only contractor in the group who wanted to remove the existing problem, not just cover it up. That proved to be the right call as many water issues were detected and repaired before they became larger structural issues years from now. Also, with the removal of the existing siding, my new siding would lay against the home like it should.

Jamie excelled in follow-up and follow through on every step of the process. I never felt like I was being sold anything!

Jamie’s installation team was fabulous. The team of 8 arrived early and stayed late. These guys were respectful of my property and my family needs. They worked in unison and appeared to have excellent communication between the group. I’m confident these characteristics lead to me receiving a much desired quality installation.

We are writing this in regard to Jamie Papian and Custom Windows & Siding. We had Custom Windows & Siding tear off our old siding and apply new insulation, vinyl siding, soffit & fascia to our 3 level split home in the spring of 2007.

We were very impressed with the job that they did with our house. Every thing was organized and pre-planned before the project even began. They arrived at our home at 8:00 am and were all cleaned up and out of our driveway by 5:00 pm.

The work force was very courteous and efficient. They were very organized and completed the project as quoted.

A couple weeks after the project was done a tornado went though our town & neighborhood and the very next morning Jamie called and came out to check the house and make sure that everything was ok and to see if any repairs needed to be made. That is the kind of service that separates him from the other contractors.

We were very impressed with the service. We referred them for another project in the family. It turned out great as well.

We were tired of putting plastic on the windows to keep out the cold wind. The siding was in need of repair. That is what lead to a visit to the Home and Garden show with a stop by Jamie Papian’s booth - Custom Windows and Siding, Inc. We had Jamie come over and talk to us about windows and siding for our house. Jamie gave us different options and explained each one to us.

The front of our house reflected the look of the 70’s. It was time to give it a complete facelift. Not only did we get new windows and siding, Jamie’s team ripped out the old, dated decorative wood and replaced it with siding and trim. Wow, what a difference!

Jamie and his team of 14 showed up and went to work. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. Jamie was great about keeping us informed of what would happen and when it would happen. He made sure we were satisfied with every step.
